PEOPLE will be guaranteed to have stars in their eyes when Bromsgrove Astronomical Society holds its open evening at the town’s rugby club.
No experience of astronomy is necessary as everyone is welcome to the event at 7pm on October 7 at Finstall Park.
Telescopes will be set up so people can view the splendours and wonders of the skies – weather permitting – and society members will be on hand to answer questions.
There will be a talk on ‘Starting Astronomy as a Hobby’ a workshop on astrophotography, a demonstration of the properties of light and display boards covering topics such as the moon landings and the solar system.
