Have your dog pictured with Santa at Rubery event to raise funds for animal charity

Bromsgrove Editorial 13th Dec, 2019   0

DOG owners wanting some Christmassy pictures of their pooches can take them along to an event in Rubery this evening and raise funds for a good cause at the same time.

The event, hosted by James Slater, will take place between 5pm and 8pm at Paws Here Unleashed, 152 New Road.

Admission is £3 and people can have photographs of their dogs taken with Santa for £10 with all cash going to the Animal House Rescue.

The Animal House is a small Birmingham-based rescue centre, which takes in unwanted, abused and abandoned animals.

All who come into the charity’s care are treated for fleas, ticks, mites and worms, they also have a full veterinary ‘MoT’, and are neutered, if over six months, and inoculated before going to their new homes.

The charity does not use kennels – instead it has foster homes, which enable volunteers to see the animals’ behaviour in a home environment, then any problems can be dealt with and we can re-home them to the most appropriate place.
