A NUMBER of expensive rings were stolen during a burglary in Greenhill, Blackwell.

Among the haul was a gold one with an emerald and two diamonds, a white gold 18ct eternity ring with a diamond band and a large gold gypsy style ring with five diamonds in it.

Several other valuable rings were also taken during the incident which happened between last Wednesday (June 29) and last Friday (July 1).

No forced entry was used at the property and there was no sign of a search by the burglars.

The raid has caused great distress to the victim as many of the rings are of sentimental value.

Witnesses or anyone with any information should call police on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
