A GROUP of 12 staff members and managers from McDonald’s Longbridge have collected 20 and 25 bags of rubbish from the Bristol Road and the lanes around Frankley Reservoir.
The tidy-up was held as part of the Great British Spring Clean and McDonald’s own scheme ‘Keep Up the Clean Up’ aimed at encouraging the community to love and take pride in where they live.
Collette Hayes from McDonald’s said: “We are often seen as a big business, a company, a corporation.
“But we are your neighbours, your friends and we believe that everyone can make a difference to their surroundings and the environment every day.”
