A GROUP of Good Samaritans have been praised by police after helping nurse an unwell man back to health in Barnt Green.
The man, who was found drifting in and out of consciousness on Hewell Road, has since been taken to hospital.
PC Simon Albutt of Alvechurch Police Safer Neighbourhood Team attended the scene at around 12.10pm this afternoon.
He said: “When I arrived there was about four or five people helping this gentleman by giving him warm blankets, tea, coffee and whatever he needed.
“It’s great to see the community supporting each other.”
