THE FUNERAL of Bromsgrove student Thomas Jones will take place this afternoon at Redditch Crematorium.
Thomas went missing on September 19 after a night out in Worcester where he had gone to start university.
His body was found on September 28 in the River Severn.
Hundreds of people attended a memorial to him on The Oakalls, where he lived in Bromsgrove before starting his course, on September 30 and more than 1,000 went to one held simultaneously on the Sabrina Bridge in Worcester.
Thomas’ death is currently being treated as unexplained and an inquest into his death will be held on January 22 next year.
