LANTERN making workshops are being held at Bromsgrove’s Artrix this weekend ahead of the town’s annual ‘Festival of Light’, writes Ryan Smith.
The free outdoor festival will take place on December 9, and will feature entertainment such as live music and an award winning carnival.
Three Lantern making workshops are available between 10am and 3pm this weekend (Saturday, November 17, and Sunday, November 18) and December 1 where anyone wishing to attend the festival can make their own light to use during the event.
Artrix will also be hosting it’s second annual Christmas Craft Fair next Saturday, November 24, where local residents can buy a range of handmade products from over a dozen stalls including jewellery, paintings and strained glass.
