THERE will be plenty of fun for all the family at community days being held by Bromsgrove District Housing Trust, writes Carrie Eddins.
All of the events will run from 12pm to 3.30pm on the next four Thursdays.
They will feature bouncy castles, face-painting, pony rides, games, crafts and tombola stalls as well as information stands and demonstrations from local service providers.
The first ones will be at King George’s Playing Fields, Sidemoor, tomorrow and next Thursday’s (August 15) will be at Shawfield in Wythall.
On August 22 the fun will be at Burcot Lane, Bromsgrove and the last one will be on the Lyttleton Avenue Playing Fields, Charford, on August 29.
Any cash raised will be split equally and donated to bdht’s five chosen charities of the year – MIND, PDSA, Primrose Hospice, Children with Cancer and Women’s Aid.
Ashlea Green, BDHT’s driving futures manager, thanked Coun Chris Bloore for his continued support, adding his generous donation from his divisional fund allowed the trust to provide the inflatables for free and ensure as much cash as possible went to the good causes.
“This year, for the first time, we’re putting on four separate fun days across the district so we can involve more people than ever before.
“We hope people come along with family and friends to enjoy the free inflatables, as well as face painting, toy stalls and other activities.
“There’s always a fantastic atmosphere, lots of fun and laughter and memories to be made.”
