A TRADITIONAL Twelfth Night Wassail will be held at the community orchard in Arden Road, Frankley, this Saturday, January 11.
Activities will start at midday with the wassail itself at 1pm.
The orchard’s trees will be blessed in a bid to engineer a bumper harvest and there will be singing, dancing, toasting and noise-making to scare away evil spirits.
Children can go on an apple hunt and make an ivy crown.
