Four people taken to hospital after serious crash in Northfield

FOUR people were taken to the hospital after a serious three-car crash last night.

It happened at the junction of Northfield Road and Middleton Hall Road at 10.15pm.

Four ambulances, two paramedic officers and a MERIT trauma doctor were sent to the scene, along with a mental health triage car with a paramedic and police officer on board.

The driver of one of the cars was in a critical condition.




He received trauma care at the roadside before being taken to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital.

A woman and two men from a second vehicle suffered serious injuries in the crash and all received trauma care from ambulance staff before they were also taken to the QE.


Witnesses or anyone with any information should call police on 101.
