FOUR ‘Peaky Blinders’ will be taking on the Three Peaks Challenge to raise funds for Bloodwise Bromsgrove.

Rob ‘The Boss’ Saunders from Redditch, Mark ‘The Man’ Cooper and Jon ‘The Daddy’ Cooper from Bromsgrove and Justin ‘The Man’ Devereux from Birmingham will take on the gruelling trek on September 22.

The Three Peaks Challenge tasks competitors with scaling Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike and Snowdon in 24 hours.

Key to the feat is the driving and all four will take turns to reach the three destinations.

Rob said: “There will be no fighting, we will negotiate, adapt and overcome.

“Ben Nevis, Scafell and Snowdon, we are coming for you.”

He added they were all fit and keen walkers but had never taken on such a challenge before.

“Cancer has touched us all in some way, shape or form and we know the great work Bloodwise Bromsgrove does so chose that as our selected cause.”

Nicole Harris from Bloodwise Bromsgrove said: “We are so grateful to Rob and his friends to take on such a difficult challenge to raise vital funds for blood cancers.”

The team have set themselves a target of £500 and are currently nearing the £100 mark.
