CANON Nigel Marns, former vicar of Bromsgrove’s St John’s church, returns to the town at 4pm this Sunday, June 3, with his new book.
Nigel will give a presentation, at St John’s Church, on ‘A Cornish Celtic Way’ which details a new 125-mile route through Cornwall from St Germans to St Michael’s Mount.
The book uncovers the stories and heritage of the Celtic saints and follows their footsteps through the beauty of the Cornish coastline and countryside.
Local author Jenna Plewes will also be reading from her collection of poems ‘Against the Pull of Time’.
This moving collection of poems takes the audience on a journey with the tender and beautiful language used.
Evensong, with a selection of music inspired by the talks, will follow the event at 6pm.
Visit eventbrite.co.uk and search for Cornish Celtic Way with Canon Nigel Marns for tickets, which are just £5, or go on the evening.
