FIREFIGHTERS extinguished a boat blaze on the Birmingham to Worcester Canal this afternoon.
The incident happened around 2.30pm in Alvechurch, near Lea End Lane.
West Midlands Fire Service crews from Kings Norton and Northfield were joined by colleagues from Redditch Fire Station.
They used water jets to put out the fire and checked it afterwards to ensure it would not reignite.
