DRIVERS will be getting fines and penalty points in the post after a police operation to clamp down on speeding.
Officers from the Safer Neighbourhood Team carried out checks in New Road and Finstall Road with a hand-held device yesterday.
They were responding to concerns raised by the local community.
Two motorists were caught and police have warned other motorists to slow down to make the roads safer for everyone who uses them.
