THE AUTUMN and winter cinema programme gets under way at Fairfield Village Hall this month, writes Abi Cook.

Fairfield Flicks, voluntarily-run by the Fairfield Village Community Association (FVCA), will see six films screened.

More than £7,000 worth of equipment, funded by the FVCA and Belbroughton and Fairfield Parish Councils, has been installed at the hall, including an HD projector, a media player, a sound system and a five-metre wide screen.

On September 25 Red Joan (12A) will be shown at 2pm followed by The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie (12A) at 2pm on October 23.

Harvey and the Magic Museum (U) will be screened at 11am on October 30 with Five Feet Apart (12A) at 7.30pm on the same day.

Hustle (12A) will be at 7.30pm on November 20 and Hidden Figures (PG) on November 27.

Tickets are £3 each for the daytime shows and £5 for the evening.
