CHILDREN from Jellybabies Nursery and Pre-School dressed as elves, raising £35 for the Alzheimer’s Society.
The annual Elf Day is organised to generate awareness of dementia as well as cash for the cause.
Jacqueline Walker, the manager of the nursery and pre-school based at Longbridge Methodist Church, said: “The children had lots of fun participating in elf-themed activities and games.
“The idea behind the day was to raise awareness of Alzheimer’s and dementia while raising funds for research into the cause, cure, care and prevention of dementia.”
The Alzheimer’s Society are dedicated to defeating dementia through research.
“This was a really fun and enjoyable day for the children,” added Jacqueline.
