Driver stopped in Longbridge for having no insurance the day after he bought his BMW

Bromsgrove Editorial 22nd Jun, 2020   0

A MOTORIST’S new car joy was short lived after he failed to ensure the vehicle and was pulled over by the police.

The BMW was stopped on Longbridge Lane this morning by officers from Worcestershire Operational Policing Unit.

The car, purchased yesterday, has now been seized by police.

Driving without insurance can incur six penalty points on the driving licence and a £300 fine.

All cars on the road, even if just bought, must have a correct insurance policy in place.
