Driver clocked by police at 96mph on the M42 between Bromsgrove and Hopwood had no licence or insurance

A DRIVER taking advantage of an empty motorway was clocked by police speeding at 96mph.

Officers from Worcestershire Operational Policing Unit then found the motorist had no licence or insurance.

The incident happened yesterday on the M42 between Junction 2 (Hopwood) and Junction 1 (Lickey End).

Police warn drivers if they want to be on the road, they must have the relevant licence, insurance and MoT.
