Dogs seized and three arrests made as police and RSPCA raid home in Frankley

THREE people were arrested and nine dogs were seized yesterday as part of an operation by the police and the RSPCA.

A warrant was executed in Tarragon Gardens, Frankley, under the Animal Welfare Act and a woman and two men were held.

The swoop was based on community intelligence and involved officers from Longbridge Police, Brandwood Police and the RSPCA.

A RSPCA spokesperson confirmed an investigation had been launched following the seizure of the dogs.
