Tristan Harris 20th Jan, 2019 Updated: 20th Jan, 2019

THE dog we launched an appeal about which was spotted in Sanders Park yesterday is safe and well and back at home.

The owner contacted The Standard to thank everyone for their help and for sharing the appeal.

The pet ran off to chase a squirrel.

The owner said in an email: “Thanks for the appeal, the dog is ours and we just wanted to clarify that we have her!

“She was only gone for 20 minutes but returned traumatised and looking very guilty.”

N APPEAL has been launched to find the owner of this dog which has been spotted in Sanders Park yesterday.

A resident contacted us to say she had tried to catch it to see if had a contact number on the collar but it kept running away.

The dog was also muzzled.

Anyone who owns the dog or knows the owner can email us at editor@bromsgrovestandard.co.uk and we will pass the details onto the resident who contacted us.
