Dodford Children's Farm the 'goat to' place as local companies sponsor three new animals

A GROUP of three new pygmy goats have taken up residency at Dodford Children’s Holiday Farm, thanks to the generosity of Bromsgrove businesses, writes Shivani Chaudhari.

Barnett Waddingham, Curo Accountants and Bromsgrove Crane Hire sponsored the animals and, after being given the chance to name them, chose Dave, Sam and Vincent (Van Goat) for the new arrivals.

All three companies have worked with the charity in the past and jumped at the chance to help when the farm’s last goat died having reached 14 years old.

Kelly Broadfield from the Children’s farm said: “The goats will spend their whole lives with us and give lots of children from inner city schools and children with special needs lots of pleasure.”
