A MACMILLAN Coffee Morning will be held from 10am to midday on Wednesday, September 26, at Brook Court, Burcot Lane.
Tea and coffee, along with home-made cake, will be served at the independent retirement complex.
As well as the culinary delights, there will also be a tombola, bric-a-brac and various other stalls.
The staff and residents has already one event for the cause – a barbecue and garden party which raised £100 through the raffle and £12.50 from a name the dog stall.
Manager Sally Mole said: “Our events are usually well-attended and we are hoping for another good turn-out at this one to raise a substantial amount for Macmillan.
“It is a very worthwhile charity which helps many people every year.”
The event has been organised by staff and the complex’s social committee.
