A CYCLIST has died after he was involved in a crash with a van and a car in Romsley this morning.
It happened about 7.40am this morning (Thursday) on Bromsgrove Road, Romsley, to the south of Halesowen.
A paramedic officer was on scene in eight minutes and was backed up by an ambulance and the Midlands Air Ambulance from Cosford.
A West Midlands Ambulance Service spokesman said: “The middle aged cyclist had suffered significant injuries in the crash.
“He received considerable treatment from the ambulance staff and air ambulance doctor but sadly, despite the extensive efforts it wasn’t possible to save him and he was confirmed dead at the scene.
“No-one else was hurt.”
