CHILDREN and staff at Millfields First School had a surprise visit from Pudsey last week.
Pupils shared facts they had learnt about Children In Need with the big yellow bear and told him where they would like to see the cash go.
The children also performed a song they had created themselves and showed Pudsey the hundreds of beautifully decorated spots they had completed over the half term.
Pudsey also stopped by Millfield’s Pre-School and visited the outdoor learning area.
Millfields’ headteacher Tracie Langfield said: “It was a special time to see the children’s surprised faces as Pudsey arrived.
“The fact the children had the opportunity to share their wishes with Pudsey and to sing their song for him all helped bring the meaning of giving to this worthwhile charity to life.”
