CANNABIS plants which filled two rooms of a house have been seized following a drugs raid in Bromsgrove this morning.
The swoop was carried out by police in Holly Road, Sidemoor, by officers from the Bromsgrove Safer Neighbourhood Team (SNT).
Equipment used to grow the drug was also discovered and confiscated after officers smashed through the doors to discover the two upstairs rooms being used for cultivation.
PC Ashley Durkin said: “This case is still under investigation so there is not much we can say at the moment.
“What we can say is that our team are committed to denying the ability for criminals to supply drugs within Bromsgrove.
“We ask the communities to remain vigilante and pass on any information which might be helpful.”
Mike Brown, chief executive of bdht which owns the property, said: “As the leading local landlord, bdht is committed to helping the police support the local community.”
He added as the investigation was ongoing, it was not possible to comment further.
Anyone with any information on drug-dealing in their area should call police on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
