BUSINESSES across Bromsgrove battled it out against others from the county at a charity Wheelchair basketball tournament recently.
The tournament, organised and hosted by Sports Partnership Herefordshire and Worcestershire, took place at the University of Worcester Arena.
Five local businesses competed, including Compco Fire Systems, One Creative Environments Ltd, Bromsgrove and District Housing Trust, Mainstay and Irwin Mitchell Solicitors.
Compco Fire Systems were crowned champions.
The sports partnership’s adult participation manager Emma Gardner said: “It is a popular event that sees local businesses come together to try this fast and furious Paralympic sport.”
The event was held to raise funds for Worcester based charity, Smile For Joel, founded by the family of Joel Richards who died in the Tunisian terror attacks in 2015.
