THREE business premises in Barnt Green and Rednal were all broken into within hours of each other and various items were stolen.
In the first, overnight between Saturday and Sunday, a cafe in Hewell Road, Barnt Green, was targeted. The thieves ransacked the premises, stealing an iPad and card payment machine.
In the second, an attempt was made to break into a hairdressers in Hewell Road, Barnt Green, between 12.30am and 2.20am on Sunday morning. A man wearing a black bomber jacket smashed the door in and then ran off towards a dark five-door car before driving off.
No entry was gained and nothing was stolen on that occasion.
Then, at some point between midnight and 4.20am on Sunday, a hairdressers was broken into in Lickey Road, Rednal.
A safe and hairdressing equipment was stolen.
