Bromsgrove's Superdream which employs 23 people goes into adminstration

A BROMSGROVE creative agency which employs 23 staff has gone into administration.

Superdream, based in The Courtyard, Buntsford Drive, reportedly asked their employees to remove their belongings and leave the building when they turned up for work on Friday.

According to thebusinessdesk.com the staff then received letters on non-headed paper on Saturday, telling them their contract of employment had ended as of July 5 and payment arrears and holiday would be paid by Industrial Service.

Superdream was launched in 2013 and has officers and Bromsgrove and also has an office in Brisbane.

A member of staff, speaking to the business website said it came as a shock as the firm had recently won new contracts and it felt like the workforce was busy.

“There had been no warning that this was going to happen and no one representing the company has been on hand to talk to us.

“Someone operating on behalf of the administrators said it could be mid-August before we get monies owed, so there’ll be no pay at the end of July.”

In recent months the company has taken on one new apprentice and three senior members of staff.

The report said the liquidation process of Superdream’s assets would begin on July 17.

The Standard has attempted to contact Superdream for comment but has not yet received a reply.
