Bromsgrove's BirdBox set to fly high again this weekend after last week's success

FOLLOWING last weekend’s success Bromsgrove’s BirdBox is set to fly high again this weekend.

Tables and chairs will be put out Friday afternoon until 10.30pm and then the same on Saturday.

Bayley’s and The Little Ale House will be open and there will also be Pizza Heaven and Shimla Peppers, as well as other available traders to enjoy.

Throughout August the space will be occupied by independent businesses who can pop up at the site for free.

Going forward the BirdBox will be used for events, mini-markets, music, pop up restaurants and bars.

Bromsgrove District Council’s portfolio holder for leisure, Coun Philip Thomas, said: “It was great to see such a fantastic turnout last weekend and weather permitting success will follow this weekend.

“This council wanted to support our traders in the hospitality trade who, because their premises are too small, cannot operate within the current social distance guidance. I urge are residents to support these independents which add to the vibrancy of our town.”
