Bromsgrove vets thanks public for kind messages of support after break-in

A BROMSGROVE veterinary practice has thanked people for their kind comments after it was broken into last week, forcing it to close for a morning.

Clent Hills Vets was targeted by the thieves in the early hours of Wednesday morning.

Around £5 was taken from the till which was forced open by the raiders, and a couple of charity tins.

No drugs or other items were stolen.

Luckily there were no inpatient pets at the time, which meant no vets or nurses on the premises either.

When they posted about the incident on Facebook, the practice received more than 200 reactions and over 50 comments from people, offering support.

The post added: “All the staff are OK.

“We’re just concentrating on getting things back to normal as soon as possible.”

Appointments due that morning had to be cancelled and were rebooked and the practice reopened that afternoon.

Witnesses or anyone with any information should call police on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
