BROMSGROVE is set to hold its first ever vegan fair which will offer more than 30 stalls of food, cosmetics, clothing and more.

The free event will take place at the Holiday Inn, on Kidderminster Road, from 10.30am to 4pm next Sunday, April 29, for both vegans and curious non-vegans to enjoy.

The stalls will provide cakes, cheese, chocolate, raw food and a variety of hot meals, as well as non-food stalls selling products free of animal ingredients and not tested on animals, including cosmetics, toiletries and clothing.

Kevin White, founder of Midlands Vegan Campaigns which has organised the event, said: “Veganism is snowballing at a very fast rate in the UK, with new stats showing that around 3.5million people- seven per cent of the population- now follow a vegan lifestyle.

“For many, vegan events are the best starting point if you’re vegan curious, an aspiring vegan or already enjoying the benefits of the lifestyle.

“There are now dozens of vegan fairs and festivals springing up across the country, so anyone interested will find them more accessible than ever before.

“Every town needs a Vegan Fair, including Bromsgrove.”
