Bromsgrove to hold its annual Armed Forces Day flag-raising ceremony

THERE will be the annual Armed Forces Day flag-raising ceremony in Bromsgrove at 10.30am on Monday, June 25.

The event, which will take place at Crown Close, near the town’s war monument and Amphlett Hall, will give residents the chance to show their support for the Armed Forces and will be attended by Bromsgrove District Council Chairman Coun Caroline Spencer.

She said: “By flying the flag in our community, we are showing our support for the men and women of our Armed Forces, past and present, who continue to rise to the very difficult challenge of maintaining the defence of the realm.”
