Bromsgrove Salvation Army's drop-in sessions to combat loneliness

Bromsgrove Editorial 22nd Jul, 2019   0

PEOPLE living alone in Bromsgrove can go along to drop-in sessions being run by the town’s Salvation Army branch, writes Roman Filkin.

The centre on Carlisle Road is open from 10am to 2pm on Wednesdays for all ages.

The sessions are for people who would like a little company and to meet up and socialise with others in the same position.

Daily newspapers are available to read, along with jigsaws, board games, dominoes and various card games.

Admission is free and lunch is available for just £1.20.

Volunteers are also welcome to join the team.

Call 01527 875231 for more information or how to volunteer.
