Bromsgrove man appeals for help in finding his work van which was stolen overnight

A BROMSGROVE man has appealed for help in finding his van which was stolen from outside his property overnight.

Paul Taylor works as a plasterer and his tools and materials were in the vehicle making it very difficult for him to work today.

The red Ford Transit van, which has the registration number LG56 FEM, was taken from the Birmingham Road, about 100metres up from Bromsgove Sporting’s Victoria Ground, between 6pm last night and 6.30am this morning.

He told The Standard: “I’m surprised as it is such a main, busy road.

“I’m not sure whether they were after the tools and wanted to take it somewhere quiet or whether they wanted the van itself.”

At the moment Paul has jobs to do in Stafford Solihull and out towards Stourbridge.

“I am now going to have to borrow tools from workmates and have had to buy more materials this morning which I could have done without.

“I am so busy at the moment and this was the last thing I needed.

“These people don’t understand the impact their actions have on people.”

Witnesses or anyone with any information on Paul’s van or the whereabouts should call police on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
