Bromsgrove Lions release bunnies into the community to help good causes

Bromsgrove Editorial 28th Mar, 2019   0

SIX chocolate bunnies were released into the community last week by the Bromsgrove Lions Club and will be helping to raise funds for good causes, writes Mollie Evans.

The rabbits will now be raffled off by Age UK Bromsgrove Redditch and Wyre Forest, Aston Fields Middle School, Bromsgrove Basement Project, the Bromsgrove and Redditch branch of Parkinsons UK, Catshill First School and Nursery and Waseley Hills High School

The 40cm bunnies are made of Belgian chocolate and are used in different ways – some organisations raffle them off while others have guessing competitions, such as birthdays or names.

Last year’s fluffle raised £1,400 for the organisations and the Lions are hoping this year’s total will top that.
