BROMSGROVE Got2Sing choir raised a tasty total for the dementia specialist Admiral Nurses when coffee and cake sales at their latest rehearsal generated £140, writes Caprice Harrison.

The choir baked, brought and bought cakes to their weekly rehearsal at Bromsgrove’s St John’s CofE Middle School Academy last Thursday.

Leader Cathy Hart said the group wanted to raise both funds and awareness for the incredible work undertaken by the Admiral Nurses.

The charity provides life-changing support to families facing dementia.

Overall, Got2Sing choirs across the Midlands raised £2,050.72.

The singing groups help their members combat loneliness, improve their self-confidence and boost their mental wellbeing.
