FAMILIES from across Bromsgrove can enjoy free activities at Sanders Park between 10am and 2pm next Saturday (May 5), writes Catherine Reston.
There will be taster sessions for all ages in Tai Chi, outdoor fitness, tennis, football, rounders, bowls, golf and more.
Other activities specifically for children will be run by sports development coaches and there will be information stands from Everyone Active, which runs the leisure centre, and other local organisations.
Sander Park will also host a programme of events offering free sports and games taster sessions every Saturday from 11am to 12.30pm from May 12 until the end of the summer holidays.
Elisabeth Cottam, children and young people sports development officer, urged people to come and have a go at new sports or activities they had never taken part in before.
“You might find your new favourite hobby,” she added.
