A DRAWING group which meets at Artrix from 10am to midday every Tuesday is displaying a collection of its work at the School Drive venue.
The class, taken by Madeline Goold, started in January.
She said: “Most of them had never picked up a pencil to draw before and they have all done really well.
“The sessions have opened their eyes to the world around them.
“It has enriched their lives and instead of just looking they are now seeing.
“A lot of people say they cannot draw but everyone can draw and express themselves in their own way.”
The display of work is on the second floor of the arts centre and available to view during Artrix’s opening times.
