BROMSGROVE Community Support which has played a key role helping people in need across the district has been ‘overwhelmed’ with toy donations after its latest appeal.
The drive has received loads of donations – some have already been passed onto NewStarts and others will be going to Women’s Aid.
Now it wants to make sure all children in families in need have a Christmas to remember so is urging people who are struggling to get in touch.
Bromsgrove Community Support was launched by Georgia Oakes at the end of March and has gone from strength-to-strength since, as members collected and delivered prescriptions, shopping and meals for those shielding, took people to healthcare appointments, provided and shared information and other support networks.
The toy appeal is its latest scheme to help others.
