WORCESTERSHIRE’S St John Ambulance will benefit from £5,686 worth of life-saving equipment thanks to a donation from the Co-op Local Community Fund.
The cash boost, thanks to Bromsgrove residents shopping at Co-Ops in the district, will pay for five brand new defibrillators.
The devices deliver electric shocks to patients’ hearts when they suffer a cardiac arrest.
