Bromsgrove businessman helps town's 'aspiring' racing driver

A BROMSGROVE entrepreneur is supporting local driving enthusiast Jordan Pimley in his attempt to fulfil his dream of becoming a successful racing driver, writes Eve Watson.

Alan Nolan, co-founder of two Bromsgrove based businesses Aspire Business Partnership and ANP Training, is backing the 20-year-old through a sponsorship deal.

Jordan, from Stoke Heath, is part of the Porsche team that races in the Porsche Carrera Cup GB, 24-hour Le Mans, ELMS 4 hours of Monza and WEC 6 hours at Silverstone.

Jordan said: “Through this sponsorship the buzz of racing and the dream of being a professional driver has turned my dream into a reality.

“Purchasing the car was the first step on the long road to success and I am looking for additional sponsors who would like to become involved.”

He will be racing in the BRSCC Mazda MX5 Championship.

He added: “For as long as I can remember I’ve been watching motorsport and whenever I’ve had the opportunity, I’ve jumped into a go-kart to live the fantasy.”

He has worked in the pit lane at Porsche which, he said, had fuelled his desire to become a professional racing driver.”

Alan added: “Jordan has shown such talent on the non-competitive racing circuit and a true commitment and passion for the sport.

“He deserves to succeed.

“I believe that as a local businessman, it is my duty to support the community and provide help for talented people to fulfil their dreams.

“We will continue to support Jordan in his quest to become a professional racing driver and enhance the profile of the town.”
