BROMSGROVE Bowling Club – Members of the bowling club managed to raise £200 and shared the proceeds between Macmillan and Prostate Cancer UK.
Sales of tea, coffee and cakes helped them reach their grand total.
Groups and organisations across Bromsgrove, Rubery and Droitwich have been busy raising money by hosting their own Macmillan Coffee Mornings.
Each year the charity encourages communities to get together and raise funds for people who have or are affected by cancer.
The ‘World’s Biggest Coffee Morning’ also provides people with an opportunity to catch up over a warm drink and a slice of cake.
More than £200million has been raised since the scheme was first introduced during the 1990s.
