THERE will be plenty of family fun at a charity event being held on Sunday (September 6).

The Baby and Children’s Fair, between 10am and 4pm at Bromsgrove’s Hilton Hotel, will raise funds for Libby Mae’s Little Angels, which was started by Bromsgrove couple Charlotte and Richard Sharratt in memory of their daughter Libby Mae. Libby was born at Birmingham Women’s Hospital but passed away two weeks later.

Since its launch, the charity has raised £150,000 for neo-natal units across the Midlands.

Admission to the fair is free, along with the parking and the event will feature a variety of stalls, face-painting and a soft play area.

Award-winning photographer Michelle White will be holding a Cute Child competition whereby visitors will be able to get a professional digital photograph of their children and entry to the contest for a £5 donation.

Charlotte said all of the caash raised from the raffle and baby competition would go directly to the cause and make a huge difference by providing resources to help save babies’ lives.
