BROMSGROVE District Housing Trust is providing support for families with autistic children by hosting a free awareness course at Starlight Cafe, Humphrey Avenue, Charford this Friday, October 19.

During the workshop, parents and carers can discover the process of an autism diagnosis and get a better insight into relevant legislation and also codes of practice.

Graeme Anderson, BDHT’s director of homes and communities, said: “It really is an excellent opportunity for parents, carers and anyone who would like information or advice to get together in a supportive and relaxed environment.”

The autism awareness course provided by Worcestershire County Council, will run from 9.30am until 2.30pm.
