A BAG was stolen from one van and a second van was stolen from Hagley within an hour of each other.

The thefts happened on Tuesday – in the first incident at 12.50pm, three white men in a white BMW broke into a green Ford Transit parked at the Badgers Sett pub and stole a bag. The man who took it was wearing a blue T-shirt and grey shorts.

Then less than 40 minutes later – at 1.27pm – a Fiat Ducato, with the partial registration number ‘BV FGU’, was taken from the new housing estate in Bennetts Drive.

The thief got out of a white BMW.

Witnesses to either of the incidents are urged to call police on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
