Away tickets for Bromsgrove Sporting's FA Vase semi-final second leg at Cleethorpes Town sold out

AWAY tickets for Bromsgrove Sporting’s FA Vase semi-final second leg at Cleethorpes Town this weekend have sold out.

Cleethorpes had allocated another 50 tickets to Sporting for Saturday’s game which were quickly snapped up by fans when they went on sale inside The Rouslers Bar last night (Monday).

As Cleethorpes’ ground has a maximum capacity of 1,200, under FA rules Sporting should only have had a ticket allocation of 180.

However, due to the size of The Rouslers’ following Cleethorpes chairman David Patterson said they would give Sporting 300 tickets which was then increased to 350.

Sporting are still in with a chance of reaching the Vase final as they claimed a 1-1 draw against The Owls last Saturday in front of a new club record crowd of 3,349 at the Victoria Ground.

Jason Cowley had given the hosts the lead after 30 minutes but Luke Edwards’ own-goal nine minutes after half-time pulled the visitors level.

Anybody who can’t make it to the Vase semi-final can keep up with all the action from the Bromsgrove Standard Twitter account (@BromStandard) from 2.30pm.
