Appeal for witnesses after woman rushed to hospital following Hagley hit and run

A WOMAN in her 50s was rushed to hospital after a hit and run in Hagley.

Police are appealing for witnesses of the crash which happened along the A456 (Birmingham Road) at the roundabout off Hagley Wood Lane at about 4.20pm on November 3.

A red Peugeot Allure car was travelling behind a dark coloured VW Passat along the A456 from Birmingham towards Hagley.

It is reported that the Passat stopped abruptly due to a small blue car upon the roundabout not indicating.




The driver of the Peugeot, a woman in her 50s, sustained injuries and taken to Russell’s Hall Hospital.

The second vehicle failed to stop and is believed to have sustained damage to the rear of the vehicle.


Anyone who witnessed the collision, has dash cam footage of the incident, or who has information regarding a car with damage matching the description is urged to contact West Mercia Police on 101, quoting 647s of 3 November 2017.
