All lanes now open on the southbound M5 between Bromsgrove and Droitwich following earlier crash

ALL LANES of the southbound M5 between Bromsgrove and Droitwich are now open following an earlier crash involving two cars and a lorry.

Lanes two, three and four were shut after the collision which happened around 12.15pm.

The police, fire crews and Highways Officers are on the scene.

One ambulance, a paramedic officer and the West Midlands Ambulance Care Team were sent to the scene.




One man – the driver of one of the vehicle – was treated at the scene before being taken to the Worcestershire Royal Hospital. His injuries are not thought to be serious.

Another patient was checked over before being discharged at the scene.
