AN EVENT aimed at raising funds and awareness of endometriosis has seen £1,769.42 collected for the cause.
The night at Stoke Prior Sports and Social Club was organised by Holly Hill who has been battling the condition since she was diagnosed with it in 2016.
The event featured a live performance from three-piece motown band The Dreams and there was cupcakes on offer, along with a raffle.
Holly said: “It was so amazing – it went really well.
“I cannot believe how many people didn’t know about the condition or how people were affected by it.
“The event did a really good job at raising awareness as well as the funds.
“A lot more people now know about endometriosis.
“I’m not sure I’ll make it an annual event but I am planning other events.”
Holly is also going to the London Endometriosis office to hand over the cash.
