A CRACKDOWN on drink and drug driving in the county has already caught 45 drivers in less than a week.
West Mercia Police caught 24 drivers over the drink drive limit and 21 drivers who failed the drug driving test.
The campaign, which aims to raise awareness of the consequences of driving after drinking, has seen roadside checks carried out at all times of the day and night and on all types of roads.
The immediate consequences for anyone if they are caught drink driving include a minimum 12 month driving ban, up to six months in prison, a fine of up to £5,000 and a criminal record.
A conviction is the same for drug driving.
